I'm unable to express my outrage or even comprehend the ignorance and evil that we do.

Here is a link to a story, written by reporter Mike Clary, about our soldiers who returned home after their service in Iraq. After fulfilling their obligations and performing their duty with honor, they are facing the reality of unemployment and despair. This is particularly sad and troubling knowing that they were employed and let go by our government. How many more such stories that we don't hear and know about? How many soldiers out there have to face the betrayal of our society? And I know, only too well, what many will say: "It isn't me. It is our government!". Well, it is 'me'. For we employ our government, and all the things they do are in our name.

If you truly support our troops and filled with a sense of loyalty, you might consider sending an e-mail to our representatives in the government, demanding of them to guarantee (not only on paper) the jobs for our troops when they come home. Especially in the times of war.
