| Ever since we are born, we begin the journey into pondering “Why am I here?” And this innate desire to know, to understand the greater purpose, is shared by everyone in the Universe, compelling us to move forward.
Some of us abandon this search, silencing the voice within us to a mere whisper. Many stop on the way to rest, choosing a career, social or a religious branch as the plateau of existence. And only very few realize that the journey never ends... We come here to learn and thus evolve, together with the universe. For that is how the Universe evolves - through us.
The sad part of the journey is that it is filled with much pain; without it we cannot learn and grow.
While we are happy or content, we do not hear the cries of others when they are in distress - the ignorance is our chalice. Although, even with the pain as our faithful and constant companion, many manage to blame their despair on others, not willing to accept the pain for what it is - a teacher and a friend.
When we open our hearts to the pain of those near by and of those who may dwell on the other side of the Universe, when we accept responsibility for the life that is flowing around us and for the wrongs that are being done around the world, the spirit that is within learns and grows into what makes us so unique and decent.
And so we walk from life to life in search of our destiny, hoping to finally understand the secrets of the Universe, compelled by the desire to Believe that we are a part of a greater purpose... |
